Javan is a multi-talented creative entrepreneur with an extensive background in brand storytelling, commercial & documentary photography, film production, experiential travel, destination marketing, and social-first content creation.
Raised in the forests and mountains around Portland, Oregon, Javan finds himself at home in the most remote regions on earth. He has traveled the world and documented his experiences as a digital nomad over a period of 4 years while contributing to the success of various award-winning brands.
29NRTH is about vision. We are committed to existing on the frontier of creativity and imagery to offer the best possible experience.
It began as an adventure. A world-traveling creative with a visual approach to content perceived through the lens of adventure. Photographer and filmmaker Javan Ward produced, directed, photographed, edited, and designed everything from brand catalogs to travel films, social-first content to destination marketing assets, and creative campaigns. The company was founded on a blend between entrepreneurial grit and creative imagination.
Having worked with luxury hotels, yachts, cafes, and award-winning clientele, Javan has bred the experience and expertise to establish and grow a world-class creative studio in the heart of Central Oregon’s renowned wildscape. With a unique voice and vision, 29NRTH delivers a service that will enhance a client’s brand narrative through the element of visual storytelling.
